Alyssa Clevenstine earned her master's degree in biology from California State University Long Beach in 2019. Her research focused on verifying aggregation sites, characterizing movement patterns, and assessing annual fidelity of the protected giant sea bass (Stereolepis gigas) to Catalina Island, California.
During her fellowship, Clevenstine will assist with policy development to support the Port Master Plan Update, aquaculture, and blue technology pilot projects.
