Amanda Haas will graduate with a master's degree in marine biology from California State University Long Beach in 2020. She is studying the effects of ocean acidification on predator-prey dynamics in the rocky intertidal zone.

Haas will be assisting on a variety of coastal and water quality projects including eelgrass mitigation in Humboldt Bay and the assessment of water quality impacts of recycled asphalt.
