Amanda will graduate with a Master’s degree in biology from California State University, Long Beach in 2021. Her thesis work was focused on using molecular tools to understand how oysters at a restoration site were impacted by contaminant levels and various aspects of the restoration design. Through her fellowship at the Port of San Diego, Amanda will support the aquaculture and blue technology programs in helping to facilitate sustainable and innovative projects through project planning, grant assistance, and policy development.
