Cristina graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Master of Science in Environmental Studies in Spring 2020. During the same time, Cristina gathered experience working for the City of El Monte, in Southern California, and specialized in urban planning, landscaping and arboriculture. Cristina places great importance on the nexus of the built and natural environments.
At Caltrans, Cristina will assist District 3 with developing a comprehensive trash implementation plan for the Sacramento area. The program will address inland stormwater and trash discharges that are generated from urbanized areas to minimize their impact on surface waters.
